Job Description
The Medical Science Liaison serves as the scientific ambassador across the therapeutic areas Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Hereditary Angioedema (HAE). This field-based role is the primary medical interface with the external scientific community and plays a critical role in building trusted relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and healthcare professionals across Switzerland. The position contributes to advancing scientific exchange, generating meaningful medical insights, and supporting evidence-based decision making through the use of digital tools and data-driven approaches. Working closely with Medical Affairs and cross-functional colleagues, the Medical Science Liaison helps ensure alignment with medical and business priorities while fostering innovation, collaboration, and the highest standards of scientific integrity and compliance.

How You Will Contribute
- Build and strengthen scientific partnershipswith key opinion leaders, investigators, and healthcare professionals across the ADHD and HAE therapeutic areas.
- Communicate scientific evidence and medical informationaligned with global and regional medical strategies to support informed scientific exchange.
- Manage priorities across two therapeutic areasby effectively engaging diverse stakeholder groups and adapting to different scientific environments.
- Capture, analyze, and share actionable medical insightsusing digital platforms, analytics, and data-driven approaches to inform local strategy.
- Lead scientific engagement activitiesincluding advisory boards and scientific meetings to identify stakeholder needs and gather insights.
- Collaborate across functionsto execute strategic plans, support key opinion leader engagement, and contribute to launch readiness and lifecycle initiatives.
- Support evidence generation programsincluding real-world evidence initiatives and investigator-initiated studies to help address knowledge gaps.
- Enhance scientific capability and data qualitythrough training, knowledge sharing, accurate reporting, and effective use of customer relationship management systems.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree required, including MSc, PhD, PharmD, or MD.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with the ability to learn quickly across new therapeutic areas.
- Strong scientific communication skills with proven ability to deliver effective presentations in both in-person and virtual environments.
- Experience using digital tools, data analytics, and omnichannel engagement approaches to support scientific exchange and insight generation.
- Ability to discuss complex or scientifically sensitive topics with professionalism, scientific balance, and adherence to compliance standards.
- Strong collaboration, influencing, and self-management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and partner effectively across functions.
- Native-level proficiency in German or French, with excellent conversational English skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with field engagement comprising approximately 60 to 70% of the role.
