Objective
Take responsibility as a CRM and related systems expert for designing, implementing, and operating optimal system architecture that address user needs and align with the strategic goals of the business unit.
Align projects, system strategies, designs, implementations, and operations of Takeda Japan Pharma Business Unit (JPBU) and Global Data Digital & Technology (GDDT) with the needs of the Japan Oncology Business Unit (JOBU), and propose, design, and implement optimal system architectures and operations.
Lead stakeholder management and communication related to Field and Commercial Excellence (ComEx) systems, taking responsibility for both internal stakeholders within JOBU (including MRs and ComEx) as well as stakeholders across JPBU and Global.
Responsibility
Program Delivery Manager for Field and Commercial Excellence
Gather and analyze user needs from Field and ComEx, and lead system design, implementation, and operations.
Act as an expert to propose optimal system to address issues raised by Field/ComEx users.
Design and propose optimal CRM system architectures that support the execution of various initiatives within JOBU, ensuring alignment with global and JPBU system architectures.
Engage and align with senior management within JOBU to align with strategic objectives.
Define and execute system strategies, designs, and operations as the accountable lead, while maintaining alignment with JOBU and global team strategies.
Stakeholder Management (JPBU/GOBU DD&T)
Manage diverse key stakeholders outside JOBU, primarily within JPBU and Global Oncology Business Unit (GOBU) DD&T, to ensure alignment on CRM and related system operations.
Collaborate with various functions within JPBU DD&T to incorporate JOBU’s system strategy into system design and operations, ensuring proper development and execution.
Communicate with CRM managers within GOBU DD&T to build effective collaboration frameworks and align system design and operations with GOBU DD&T policies.
Global CRM and Related System Leadership
Act as the primary contact point in Japan for the GDDT in CRM space, strengthening knowledge sharing and communication regarding CRM and other systems used by Field and Commercial Excellence.
Lead the design, implementation, and post–go-live support of global CRM and related system rollouts in Japan, securing alignment with global strategies and local business needs.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Educational Background
A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required, with a preference for computer science or a related field.
An MBA or a relevant master’s degree is preferred.
Professional Background and Expertise
A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in managing Veeva or related CRM system
At least 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry
Proven experience in global enterprise system rollouts
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence, lead, negotiate, and collaborate effectively across all levels within a matrixed, multicultural environment, fostering a strong commitment to Diversity & Inclusion.
Languages
Japanese: Native level proficiency
English: Business level proficiency in both written and spoken English to effectively collaborate with global teams.
