As the Third-Party Antibribery & Anticorruption (ABAC) Specialist you will act as an effective influencer, fostering a culture of compliance and building consensus across the organization. You will bring strong ethical standards aligned with Takeda’s values to proactively identify and mitigate risks. You will also leverage digital platforms and data-driven processes to strengthen compliance programs.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Conduct ABAC due diligence tailored to third-party goods/services, geography, and risk indicators.
• Assess risk levels and support the Head of Ethics & Compliance for ABAC & TPRM in due diligence reviews.
• Build strong partnerships with risk reviewers, business owners, and procurement teams to gather information and address ABAC risks.
• Act as a liaison to communicate findings, provide recommendations, escalate concerns, and ensure timely resolution.
• Deliver guidance and education on TPRM processes, ApexAnalytix, and ABAC governance.
• Collaborate with the TBS fraud detection team to address red flags from ApexAnalytix or other sources.
• Support due diligence in other Ethics & Compliance areas, such as Labor & Human Rights or Data Privacy. Contribute to initiatives enhancing ApexAnalytix capabilities and global compliance monitoring.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, compliance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in anti-corruption compliance and third-party risk management, ideally in life sciences/pharmaceuticals.
• Hands-on experience supporting ABAC and TPRM programs.
• Strong knowledge of global anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act).
• Analytical skills with experience in data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and stakeholders.
• Experience with TPRM platforms (especially ApexAnalytix) and handling escalated cases is a plus.
• Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CFE) desirable.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
  

DESIRED:

• Working experience with Agentic AI and its applicability to third-party risk review activities.
• Strong judgement and analytical skills in the assessment of ABAC risk review activities that can be transitioned to Agentic AI.
