HR Partner (FTC 12 months)

You will be at the center of a highly collaborative People network, working closely with HR Site Leads, Labor Relations, the People Resource Hub, and Talent Acquisition. This is a broad, high-impact role across Baggot Street, Bray, City West, and Grange Castle, combining hands-on HR generalist support with project work that shapes and delivers the All-Ireland People Plan.

How you will contribute:

  • Partner with business leaders and HR teams to deliver People insights and translate data into actionable workforce solutions.

  • Lead employee relations matters including conflict resolution, performance management, restructuring, investigations, and risk-mitigated compliance.

  • Design and deliver consistent HR communications, policies, governance, and training materials to drive engagement and clarity across Ireland.

  • Oversee country-specific benefits programs, occupational health collaboration, wellness initiatives, and return-to-work/leave management processes.

  • Manage and contribute to talent management processes such as succession planning, performance cycles, compensation, onboarding, and learning alignment.

  • Support and coach managers on global and local people initiatives, HR responsibilities, and cross-functional projects.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and the People Resource Hub to support hiring strategies, employer branding, onboarding excellence, and effective issue resolution.

In this position you will report to the HR Site Lead Bray.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Solid HR education foundation with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • Extensive HR Partner experience with more than seven years in HR partnering roles, including proven depth in a leadership or specialist capacity.

  • Strong employee relations expertise with a track record of handling complex cases and ensuring compliant, consistent outcomes.

  • Experience in complex organizations ideally within global matrix environments and preferably with exposure to manufacturing or site-based operations.

  • Project and program delivery capability able to lead initiatives end to end and drive measurable improvements.

  • Digital and systems fluency comfortable using modern HR tools and data, including AI-enabled solutions, plus practical working knowledge of platforms such as Workday, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.

  • High-impact personal effectiveness including clear and persuasive communication, strong analytical problem solving, excellent organization and prioritization, collaborative influencing, and adaptability in changing environments.
