The Opportunity
As a Business Analyst II, you will take ownership of business analysis activities of medium to high complexity, working closely with stakeholders who will rely on your expertise and judgment. You will lead the gathering, analysis and documentation of software specifications, while also delegating low-complexity tasks to junior colleagues and supporting their development. You will keep documentation for your assigned applications accurate and up to date, ensuring it reflects reality and supports smooth delivery. In your day-to-day work, you will partner closely with development teams, product/platform owners, QA and other key stakeholders to validate user stories, review QA results and drive high-quality outcomes for our digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Leads process discovery session to support Takeda teams in identifying processes that are fit for automation;
- Works with Service line leads and/or delivery leads to create and execute a robust Automation strategy;
- Leads the development of As Is Process Description – PDD (Process Description Document), To Be Automated Process Description – SDD (Solution Design Document) and ensures that less experienced business analyst/s adhered to the agreed standards;
- Conducts High Level business process assessments;
- Develops technical client architecture and solution proposal focusing on scalability and extensibility;
- Develops high level project plans for implementation projects;
- Provides continuous updates to stakeholders and Project Manager during project delivery; and
- Works with teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
- Gather, analyse and document software specifications and business requirements (discussions, workshops, interviews, refinement meetings).
- Decompose business needs into clear specifications and smaller blocks such as user stories and acceptance criteria.

- Ability to create tactical plans that support the execution of a broader strategy
- Deep knowledge of relevant domains/products/journeys.
- Confident and skilled at identifying and navigating through roadblocks.
- Experience in Agile development.
Stakeholder Management
- Ability to effectively engage stakeholders and support them in their “Agile” journey; making sure that products owners and project stakeholders are aware and understand their roles in delivering a successful product.
- Ability to influence and build consensus amongst peers and less experienced analysts
- Facilitates a culture which is open for innovation and automation, and remove barriers for an effective automation culture
- Communicates the impact of various projects and the program health to leadership
Decision-making and Autonomy(The capacity and authority to make organizational decisions, autonomy in decision-making, complexity of decisions, impact of decisions, problem-solving)
- Able to balance the needs of the business team and the RPA factory when managing and prioritizing the project pipeline.

- Clear obstacles and blockers in the team’s path (such as dependencies on other teams) and maintain a list of obstacles
- Lead the development of complex products, as well, contribute the design of operational processes to support the product.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:(List the essential and desirable education and competency requirements to perform the primary responsibilities of the job. Any minimum requirements should be noted.)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field, or other relevant work experience
- 6+ years as business analyst for Automation, workflows and business process improvement initiatives and/or IT projects
- 3+ years of experience within a Lean/Agile development environment
- Experience in Agile development
- Certified Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate certification (PL-600) preferred
- Strong training/mentor/leadership skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to reach audiences of all levels of a large global organization
