Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Logistic Operations Data Analyst Intern to support the EU Regional Distribution, Export Hubs & Warehousing Operations team. This role combines technical expertise with operational exposure, focusing on enhancing performance transparency and strengthening data quality across the supply chain network. You will contribute to automation initiatives, KPI visibility, and performance monitoring, enabling faster and more data-driven decision-making. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of logistics operations, analytics, and continuous improvement.
How You Will Contribute
Design and enhance performance enablers, including dashboards, performance cockpits, call-for-action KPIs, and root cause analysis outputs
Develop automated “no-touch” reporting solutions to detect, escalate, and resolve data gaps
Improve performance visibility by transitioning monitoring from monthly to more frequent (e.g., weekly) tracking where feasible
Explore and leverage existing company data sources to calculate, validate, and reconcile KPIs
Cross-reference internal performance indicators with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) data to ensure accuracy and alignment
Support the maintenance of Team Sites, ShareDrive structures, and communication frameworks to enable effective collaboration
What You Bring to Takeda
Ongoing or completed degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics operations
Preferably experience working with modern data platforms and analytical environments (e.g., Data Lakes, Databricks) as well as calculation and interpretation tools to extract insights, structure complex datasets, and support data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI (strong plus)
SAP or other ERP system knowledge is an advantage
Structured, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with ambiguity in a collaborative team environment
Strong analytical mindset with solid problem-solving capabilities
Fluent English
