Job Description

Join our team as a​ Data Strategy Enablement Lead for Global Manufacturing and Global Quality.

Reporting to the Head of Data Strategy, you will define and align the enterprise data strategy for products, value creation, sourcing, and integrations to enable analytics at scale. This role requires a creative, business-focused leader who elevates the use of data and analytics and serves as a subject matter expert in driving agility, performance, and value across the core data domains of Global Manufacturing, Global Quality, Global Supply Chain, Location & Physical Equipment, and Material/Part data.

Role Purpose

  • Define, align, and implement the overall data strategy across data products, integrations, and analytics to support enterprise-scale decision-making.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Global Manufacturing, Global Quality, Global Supply Chain, Location & Physical Equipment, and Material/Part data domains.
  • Elevate the role, services, and products of data and advanced analytics, enabling business results and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate the value of data-driven decision-making and optimize analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

Co-create Strategy

  • Develop and execute the data and analytics roadmap, aligned with business capabilities and AI goals.
  • Identify value creation opportunities, measure ROI, and oversee MVP phases.
  • Lead the Data Marketplace and Data Governance Platform, ensuring secure, compliant data management.

Demand Management

  • Act as product owner for data and analytics products, driving roadmap, enhancements, and alignment with business needs.
  • Ensure high-quality, fit-for-purpose data in collaboration with data quality teams; drive MDM and data quality strategies for Product and Supplier Master.
  • Define and implement data standards, best practices, and global integration guidelines.
  • Deliver analytics tools and insights to enable faster, accurate, data-driven decisions.
  • Oversee analytics strategy and team capabilities.
  • Design and maintain data architecture aligned with business and EDA strategy, explore innovative technologies, and oversee integrations, access security, stewardship, and documentation.


Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and inspire cross-functional data teams and business units.
  • Advise executives on data strategy and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment and success of data initiatives.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or related fields, ideally in pharma, including supply chain, manufacturing, and global quality.
  • Experience leading Data & AI programmes in GMS or GQ
  • Understanding of statistical software (SAS, SPSS, SQL, Python, R), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and Microsoft Excel
    Strong strategic advisory experience
  • Proven track record in data governance, data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in business partnership, stakeholder management, relationship management, and vendor governance.
  • Knowledge of Agile/SAFe or other project/product management methodologies.
