We are currently hiring a Brand Engagement & Analytics Manager (m/f/d) to join or Austrian Commercial team in Vienna.
Role Purpose
This marketing role is anchored in the updated Takeda marketing flow capabilites (see attached below) and functions complimentary to the extended Brand Manager curricula. It drives the execution of omnichannel engagement strategies to maximize customer value, reduce content hurdles by smart use of AI tools and support the overarching brand strategy. It leverages data-driven insights, digital marketing expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful, compliant, and innovative customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Own, develop and implement omnichannel engagement & content plans for in-line and launch brands in collaboration with cross-functional team.
Embed omnichannel tactics into brand and departmental strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives & foster content re-use across LOCs, clusters & globally.
Lead the execution of omnichannel campaigns & spear-head modularization of (pre-approved) content including internal medical approval process* deputyship and use of necessary self-service platforms (eg. SFMC, Drupal, and Shaman).
Implement user experience (UX) principles across digital interfaces while ensuring compliance with local regulatory standards. Accountability for regulatory compliance of pre-approved content.*excluding MARV (no creation of medical content, execution on pre-approved content)
Guide the creation of customer personas, campaign journey mapping, customer segment engagement plan and creation of relevant KPIs in close collaboration with the x-functional brand team (BM, SEL, MED)
Advise on optimal channel selection and lead technical implementation of digital campaigns via available platforms.
Harvest and analyze data for campaign effectiveness:
- Utilize tools to derive actionable insights, perform audience segmentation, enhance campaign optimization eg. Matomo Analytics, Power BI dashboards in collaboration with S&I Data Analyst.
- Establish and maintain mechanisms for collecting feedback on campaign performance and HCP engagement in the Austrian market
Set up and monitor KPIs/metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization.
Collaborate with S&I data specialists to improve dashboarding and analytics capabilities.
Act as a hands-on expert and center of excellence for omnichannel projects, supporting cross-functional teams (including Medical, Access, and other BUs).
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of digital assets.
Support the brand lead with marketing tactics and campaign execution.
Ensure all activities comply with company and local regulations.
Stay up to date with digital and omnichannel trends, sharing best practices and lessons learned.
Drive agile working principles and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Skills & Competencies
Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution, using data and KPIs to optimize performance.
Digital Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in digital asset delivery (web, email, social media), marketing automation, CRM (Salesforce, Veeva), and CMS platforms (Drupal, Sitecore).
Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of digital technologies, ability to articulate technical requirements, and monitor technology stack fit.
Collaboration & Communication: Builds effective cross-functional relationships, communicates with impact, and motivates others to deliver superior customer value.
Customer Centricity: Focuses on delivering high-quality customer experiences and understands customer needs.
Project Management: Experience managing vendors/partners and ensuring in-time, in-budget, and in-quality delivery of digital assets.
Required Software Skills
CRM Platforms: Salesforce, Veeva, or similar
Marketing Automation: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, HubSpot, or equivalent
Content Management Systems: Drupal, Sitecore, or similar
Analytics & Dashboarding: Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI
Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Miro, Klaxoon
Digital Asset Production: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar
Social Media Management: Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Communications, or related field.
Several years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, omnichannel campaign execution, or related roles.
Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sector is an advantage.

For this important and responsible position, the minimum gross salary is €6.000 per month (full-time, according to the collective agreement for the chemical industry). The actual salary package depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
