Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with SFE BP Lead to create a high performing and competitively superior sales force that delivers results and value-added services to both internal and external customers through improved physician targeting, territory alignment, sales quota setting and sales incentive scheme.
- Create, drive and champion BU sales excellence strategy and implementation plan that is aligned with Takeda China Business Strategy and Company Culture
- Provide monthly sales analytics, and follow up Business performance and Operational performance
- Implement the quarterly and yearly sales planning cycle (territory alignment and) with BU and ensure timely delivery with quality.
- Ensure optimal development of financial and human resources for sales force performance. Monitor sales force design/development and make recommendations to BU Head to improve effectiveness and ROI.
- Act as a key contact window between BU on SFE relevant questions consultation.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with BU Heads, sales managers, HR, IT, finance and other departments to ensure the implementation of company’s SFE strategies and development of a systematic approach to monitor KPI and track performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to BU management on the execution status, gaps and suggestions.
- Independently support several regions on sales force review such as territory alignment and target setting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Around 6 years’ experience in sales capability or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales Force Effectiveness or related functions is a must.
- An ability to generate performance management reports, sales forecasts and detailed analysis and recommendations for brand performance.
- Experience of implementation of sales strategy such as improved physician targeting, sales force design, quota setting and business planning etc.
- Willingly embrace changes needed to adapt to new circumstances.
- Create and communicate a sense of purpose or vision for self, team or unit consistent with Takeda-ism Behaviors and Corporate Strategies.
- Strong communication skills to influence the key stakeholders and collaborate with partner departments

- Intellectual capacity to drive solutions within the constraints of complex business environment and processes
- Ability to navigate through cross-team dynamics and drive influences and impacts.
- Deliver results and drive for continuous improvement. Set high performance and hold others accountable for the results expected. Acts with a sense of urgency.
- Establish an environment that ensures total adherence to Takeda Compliance Policy throughout the organization.
- Fluent in English in both oral and written.
