    • Build and execute regional business plans aligned with national franchise strategy and access goals.

  • Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement:

    • Shape the external GI/IBD ecosystem by establishing trust-based partnerships with clinicians, regulators, medical societies, and key accounts.

    • Collaborate with hospital administrators, pharmacy chains, and procurement teams to improve IBD treatment access and availability.

    • Represent Takeda in key industry platforms to influence sustainable GI healthcare policies.

  • Team Leadership & Agile Ways of Working:

    • Lead and coach the regional team following the VACC leadership model (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach).

    • Promote agility, ownership, and innovation across the team with a shared focus on patient impact and business outcomes.

    • Foster a culture of performance, integrity, and continuous development.

  • Commercial Execution:

    • Ensure achievement of regional sales targets, account objectives, and patient access KPIs.

    • Drive execution excellence across key accounts and critical GI centers.

    • Lead high-impact initiatives to support IBD diagnosis, treatment adoption, and long-term disease management.

  • Governance & Compliance:

    • Uphold Takeda’s compliance framework in all business operations.

    • Ensure thorough due diligence for third-party partners, distributors, and external engagements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Medicine is required.

    • An MBA or equivalent business qualification is preferred.

  • Professional Experience:

    • 12–15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.

    • Minimum 2–3 years of people management experience in a regional role.

    • Proven experience in the IBD segment is mandatory.

    • Strong background in working with corporate hospitals; experience with government accounts is an added advantage.

    • Prior experience with specialty or biologics portfolios will be valued.

  • Leadership & Strategic Competencies:

    • Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and account-based leadership.

    • Ability to enable and coach cross-functional teams in an agile setup.

    • Excellent communication and influencing skills—both verbal and written.
