Job Description
About the Role:
As the Technical System Owner, Analyst, you will provide updates to key software systems in a validated environment to meet the business needs of a 24x7 manufacturing site. Your efforts will ensure the timely and complete delivery of project results associated with local IT and global IT projects, focusing on the required changes to existing software systems to maintain compliance with internal processes and federal regulations. The Technical System Owner, Analyst will participate in software development, testing, release, support, consulting, and experimenting to deliver the required system changes per their business partners’ input. Working in a team, you will also contribute to the system architecture, development roadmap, and provide insight into system capabilities when interacting with non-technical resources.
How you will Contribute:
Provide software development, software design, and consulting efforts.
Learn the business requirements and operations to identify how the key software systems fit into the business operations.
Provide insights and consulting to team members and internal clients regarding project efforts, deliverables, and expectations.
Participate in IT and non-IT projects.
Demonstrate solid technical knowledge, require limited daily direction, handle complex problems, have knowledge of the policies, standards and procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and to maximize your impact on the delivery of projects.
Work with customers to understand their business, provide updates on progress and to anticipate needed IT solutions based on business and technical knowledge. Manage (educate and influence) the business process owner.
Review team, group and service deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results) and adherence to the processes, standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in the budget process for new and existing projects.
Participate in the research, analysis, selection, implementation and validation of new technologies and services.
Create training and support plans for users on new technologies, applications, and business systems.
What you bring to Takeda:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in information technology or related technical field with 6+ years of related experience
Desired knowledge of Siemens MES, or similar MES development experience.
Must be proficient in written and oral English
Strong VB Script, VB6 , VB.Net Skills.
Experience with HTML, CSS, XML languages.
Knowledge of relational database management system (RDBMS) packages including SQL Server and Oracle.
In depth knowledge of writing complex SQL Queries.
Experience with Crystal Reports.
Experience with ERP systems ( JDE / SAP ).
Experience participating in group projects and delivering project.
Experience identifying and solving complex technical problems for area of responsibility, using in-depth analysis of situations or data.
Experience in a client facing role as part of the software development process.
Familiarity with regulated business operations a plus
Experience with GMP systems and IT systems change management process a plus.
Important Considerations

Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
Work in a cold, wet environment.
Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.

$86,500.00 - $135,960.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
