Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Data, Digital and Technology (DD&T) Sr. AI Product Owner manages product delivery for GenAI-powered digital agents within the Digital Partner Product Line and is responsible for the day-to-day development and alignment of delivery to the strategic vision. These agents aim to optimize administrative workflows, improve employee productivity in interactions with DD&T, Finance & Procurement, and other service functions, and revolutionize the accessibility and usability of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across business functions. The Product Owner leads product initiatives within the Digital Partner portfolio and interacts with multiple product owners, platform owner, business owners, and process subject matter experts to promote a unified vision. The Product Owner is focused on delivery, release plans, and communicating progress to stakeholders. They are responsible for leading virtual teams to release a product that meets customer needs to achieve team goals and have end-to-end responsibility for defining and prioritizing requirements (stories) in the backlog and accepting requirements (stories) as completed.
OBJECTIVES:
- Manage the key relationships between stakeholders and DD&T to deliver on business opportunities and outcomes, and to drive continuous delivery of value using agile product life cycle management—from product prototyping, development, optimization, and renewals to product terminations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and evaluate new use cases based on business value and user impact; translate needs into actionable solutions by working with solution architects, platform owners, and application owners; gather detailed user stories with user acceptance criteria; prioritize features in alignment with strategic goals and resource constraints; work closely with SCRUM teams to ensure efficient execution and delivery of solutions; and orchestrate user testing with stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate for continuous improvement.
- Proactively monitor and maintain product-related end-to-end customer/business experiences and influence relevant stakeholders to support and deliver successful product releases.
- Partner with platform and application teams to identify and use optimal technologies and resources for products, and to drive continuous improvement of service processes, user experiences, and application optimization aligned with business stakeholders.
- Work with communication, change, and training specialists to align on messaging, create strategies to promote new features, enhancements, and capabilities, and support the creation of materials and sessions to train users on features and updates.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Customer Relationship Management
- Manage the expectations of business owners and other stakeholders.
- Communicate how the product is meeting the business priorities and goals of the organizations (business, technology, and marketing).
- Work with partners in business functions, technology, data, and the ecosystem to accomplish product goals.
- Identify high-priority/critical issues and provide solutions to address stakeholder needs.
- Communicate issues and successes up and down in the product teams, DD&T, and the business.
- Responsible for creating insightful communication artifacts for keeping product teams and stakeholders informed and up to date on project status, issues, and risks.
Product Delivery
- Define the product offering in terms of benefits, features, and customer journeys.
- Provide recommendations on features needed for the product for future stages of development.
- Build a backlog of user stories, prioritize items to achieve business goals, and continuously update together with the team.
- Lead the team through the process of defining product requirements, ensuring they are complete, integral, consistent, and the sole source of requirements for the team.
- Participate in and lead requirement-gathering sessions and are responsible for translating business requirements into clear user stories.
- Prioritize features for the product roadmap with stakeholders and development teams and ensure successful product releases.
- Support the team in collecting ideas and setting priorities for prototyping and development.
- Scope the releases, considering existing resource constraints and sustained development of the product.
- Oversee the initiation and execution of continuous improvement efforts.
- Synchronize with other process owners and product owners of teams responsible for adjacent products.
Facilitation
- Build a backlog of user stories, prioritize items to achieve business goals, and continuously update together with the team.
- Make sure the team correctly understands the requirements.
- Work with the scrum master, business analysts, software engineers, testers, and designers to align timelines, dependencies, and scope.
- Participate in the planning sprint to reaffirm priorities and confirm requirements.
- Interact with other teams and units as part of synchronization ceremonies to implement cross-team tasks.
- Support the team in collecting ideas and setting priorities for prototyping and development.
- Develop a strategic customer engagement plan for the product and work with stakeholders and strategic partners across the organization to drive execution.
- Work with stakeholders to prepare for customer launch and readiness.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
Technical Expertise & Qualifications
- Ability to operate within the domains of any core technologies that the product requires to deliver capabilities (e.g., artificial intelligence, machine learning).
- Technical proficiency with Generative AI, NLP, and integration with platforms like RPA tools and APIs.
- Strong grasp of machine learning concepts like Natural Language Processing (NLP) and model fine-tuning.
- Strong proficiency in Agile and SCRUM practices and tools (e.g., SAFe, Jira), including backlog and sprint management.
- Understands design thinking practices (e.g., Personas, Journey Mapping, Rapid Prototyping) and can explain complex problems in simple terms.
- Expertise in requirements definition & analysis and backlog, epic, & story management.
- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure, SQL and Relational Databases, and modern APIs, microservices, and component-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with testing and evaluating Generative AI systems for accuracy, bias detection, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with methodologies to weed out hallucinations and ensure ethical AI use.
- Proficiency in industry tools used for AI evaluation, data analysis, and automation.
- Bonus: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards for AI solutions.
- Bonus: Knowledge of enterprise systems like SAP, Veeva CRM, ServiceNow, and SOP management tools is a plus.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
- 7+ years of solid experience owning and delivering digital products across the enterprise.
- Certificate in Digital Product Management or related discipline.
- Proven experience in product ownership or management, specifically with AI-powered solutions, automation, or digital assistants.
- Background that comprises both solid business acumen as well as a high-level understanding of high-quality digital product delivery.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.

$153,600.00 - $241,340.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
