THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Senior Scrum Master, you'll thrive in managing sophisticated situations, fostering cross-functional unity, and collaborating with diverse teams and senior leadership. Embrace a dynamic role encompassing a wide array of complex scaling challenges and variations. You'll excel in identifying strategic alliances and orchestrating with various teams to significantly enhance the value delivered to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on consistently improving and problem-solving.
Act as a trusted representative for the team in committees, coordinate with IT colleagues from other teams, and serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the product owner and release manager or other functions from the business.
Guide, coach, and mentor more junior or aspiring Scrum Masters.
Deliver ongoing training for the team, product owners, developers, and testers to consolidate and support the future development of agile methods in the organization.
Lead Knowledge Management, Lessons Learned, and Continuous Improvement activities.
Use expert agile knowledge to guide teams to utilize tools and practices for software development.
Effectively lead the scrum team to achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
Solving unique and complex problems with a broad impact on the business.
Offer conceptual and innovative approaches to improve organizational agility.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFIFCATIONS
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of IT/SW delivery experience, working in an agile environment
A minimum of 4 years of Scrum Master experience, leading small to mid-sized agile teams
Experience in applying Scrum Principles. Practices, and Theory of Scrum, Kanban, Agile Development, and Integration.
Experience in coaching teams and organizations to realize the benefits arising from agile principles, self-management, empowerment, incremental delivery, and inter-team collaboration.
Experience in delivering impactful results at team level, program level and product level.
Abilities and Skills:
Strong communication abilities in diverse, technical/ non-technical, multidisciplinary, and global settings.
Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) across written, verbal comprehension
Exceptional analytical aptitude for understanding complexities and identifying links among challenges, risks, issues, and solutions, fostering collaborative team decision-making.
Strong adaptability in dynamic and shifting environments.
Skilled in resolving conflicts constructively and effectively.
Proactive self-learner with dedication to consistently enhance knowledge and skills.
Commitment to continuous improvement
Nice-To-Have:
Expertise in various agile methodologies and project management techniques.
Recognised certifications in Agile or DevOps.
Well-versed in both, Agile and Waterfall project management approaches.
