Job Description

About the role: 
The Tech Program and Project Management, Senior Manager is a team lead role reporting to the Global EHSS DD&T Partner. You will lead technical programs, projects, and enterprise application maintenance operations that support business priorities, with responsibility for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk. This role combines technical leadership, delivery coordination, and change management to support reliable, scalable, business-aligned high impact IT solutions.


How you will contribute: 
• Lead technical programs, projects, and enterprise application support operations to deliver against business priorities 
• Act as a point of escalation for moderately complex, non-routine problems and use sound judgment to help resolve issues that affect delivery 
• Identify business needs and opportunities by aligning project and product investments with business strategy, while considering functional needs, resource capacity, risk exposure, and interdependencies 
• Lead the implementation of strategic and core programs and projects, with regular monitoring, measurement, and reporting against budget, schedule, and business objectives 
• Identify barriers slowing project progress and remove inefficiencies through practical solutions that support program goals 
• Provide periodic updates to senior management on progress, risks, issues, and actions needed to keep delivery on track 
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Databricks, SQL, ETL processes, job scheduling and data visualization tools.

• Coordinate operational and release activities, including change requests in ServiceNow and deployment planning with global platform teams 
• Contribute to solution design decisions based on business requirements, including technology selection, build-vs-buy assessments, and evaluation of emerging AI-enabled capabilities with technical partners 
• Manage, coach and develop Agile teams made up of developers, business analysts, and testers to support delivery needs 


Skills and qualifications: 
• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as management or technology is required 
• 7 or more years of experience managing large teams in enterprise application support operations and delivering high-impact IT initiatives 
• Extensive experience partnering with business area leaders to plan and deliver programs 
• Extensive product, program, or project management experience, including full life cycle implementations for major applications 
• Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud platforms like AWS / GCP, ERP and other transactional systems

• Experience leading Agile delivery using SAFe Framework, Kanban, and Atlassian tools 
• Strong technical knowledge of in ETL processes and tools such as Databricks and Python, data extracts using SQL, and analytics tools such as PowerBI 
• Technical knowledge to organize project data in meaningful ways that support project team success 
• Strong financial analysis skills, including budget planning, business case preparation, invoices, accruals, and budget forecast management

• Proven skills in negotiation, influencing without authority and working diplomatically through conflict


As an expert professional within the organization, you develop innovative solutions to complex problems aligned with organizational objectives. Your work involves addressing intricate issues, requiring in-depth analysis and judgment. You also engage with key contacts outside your expertise area and contribute to the development of new concepts and standards. Operating with considerable autonomy, you serve as a consultant to management and an external spokesperson on major matters, often working independently and leading function teams or projects. Additionally, you play a role in training and mentoring junior staff.
