Job Description

About the role: 

In this exciting role you will be analyzing, interpreting and supporting operational needs and system of the implemented business processes within the existing MES landscape.

This role is a fixed term position, till end of March 2027.

How you will contribute: 

  • Maintain the MES System with tasks that evolve out of the project or as part of the daily routine like configuration changes in MES for printers, scales, terminals, etc.

  • Ticket support for MES IT issues (configuration, issue identification, solving etc.)

  • Working with the Vienna Site MES Business Owner and MES IT System Owner to support ongoing implementation projects and future projects in the pipeline.

  • GxP Documentation for the MES System like IT relevant SOPs, System Configuration documents and other.

  • Working with an experienced team including vendor consultants and software developers.

  • Follow all company and department policies and ensure policies and procedures are documented according to Takeda Quality Management Systems (QMS), Software Development Life Cycle and Project Life Cycle standards

What you bring to Takeda:

Required:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of IT

  • Understanding of MES PAS-X System

  • Coordinating tasks and working in an international team, combined with efficient time management

  • Ability to write and speak well in the German and English language

  • Ability to work pro-actively, virtually and face-to-face in a group setting

  • Ability to present, to ask questions, to summarize and to lead small meetings

  • Collaborative working skills to partner with global portfolios and implement new initiatives technology stacks within a plant environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with MES PAS-X 3.2.x / 3.3.x Systems and knowledge of the overall functionality of it.

  • Familiarity with regulated systems – general level of understanding of systems

  • Experience in supporting multiple cross functional, local, or global projects.

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this important and responsible position is €4.157,14 gross per month (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry). The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible.
