Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop franchise, brand strategies and plans in short term and long term.
1) Establish, manage, coordinate and evaluate brand strategy & plans, category A&P budgets, related to the Takeda strategy.
2) Manage the implementation of marketing plan and initiatives.
3) Closely monitor performance of in-market products per region and establish action plans when results fall short of planned objectives.
- Build up product portfolio strategies and manage BD & NPP (new product planning) projects and initiatives.
1) Find new business opportunities and support BD team in digestion partnering.
2) Own strategy setting for brands (in-market and pipeline) and develop commercial business cases for new products in cooperation with New Products Manager.
- Accelerate Takeda's comprehensive cooperation with hospitals to promoting strategic cooperation, implementing digital healthcare solutions, and optimizing the diagnosis to enhance brand value and establish broader partnerships
- Lead marketing team and develop/retain talents. Ensure high standard on-boarding (new category employees), career planning and training / development to constantly improve marketing capabilities.
- Manage and control A&P budget to be effective and efficient within financial plan.
- Oversee category market research initiatives as part of brand plans and anticipate market reactions / changes.
- Compliance with applicable policies, procedures and other regulations. Coach and provide guidance to the staff to be compliant.
Qualifications & Skills:
Level of Education
- Bachelor degree or above, preferably in business management or marketing. Master is a plus
Working Experience in Relevant Field
- 10+ years of marketing and/or sales experiences within pharmaceutical industry, 5+ years at marketing manager level leading marketing team (>5HC)
Professional Knowledge and Skills
- Professional knowledge and competences on pharmaceutical marketing strategy and operation.
- Competency and skills on leading and developing marketing team and people.
- Strong business orientation, good business sense, and ability to think out of box utilizing science to create competitive advantage.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English both in verbal & written.
- Office software operation skills.
