Grounded in financial expertise and enriched by critical thinking, sound judgment, and trusted relationships, this role plays a decisive part in ensuring continuity, enabling successful launches, and supporting long-term priorities.

The position integrates AI and digital tools that enhance efficiency in reporting, forecasting, and analysis. These capabilities expand the capacity to focus on what creates the greatest impact: interpreting complexity, connecting insights to strategy, building strong networks, and enabling high-quality decisions across the business.

How You Will Contribute

  • Strategic Partnering – Guide forward-looking decision-making by linking financial insights to strategy and supporting launches under margin-sensitive conditions.

  • Data-Enabled Analysis – Apply advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-powered dashboards to strengthen forecasting and scenario planning, while applying professional judgment to validate results.

  • Financial Leadership – Lead planning, forecasting, and project execution end-to-end, connecting financial outcomes to long-term strategic initiatives.

  • Communication & Storytelling – Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives tailored to executives and cross-functional teams.

  • Networking & Influence – Build strong, trust-based connections across the organization, bridging finance, operations, data teams, and leadership to accelerate impact.

  • Mentorship & Growth – Develop junior analysts, promote responsible AI adoption, and nurture a culture of learning and curiosity.

  • Governance & Ethics – Safeguard financial control, compliance, and ethical decision-making, ensuring trust and accountability in every process.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Finance, Economics or similar

  • 3 years of experience on Financial Planning (FP&A), Insights & Analytics, Finance Business Partnership, Strategy/Management Consulting or Transaction Services.

  • Strong relationship-builder with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis, using both traditional and AI-enabled approaches.

  • Digital fluency: experience with predictive analytics, Power BI, and knowledge of data governance principles.

  • Strategic insight and commercial acumen, with proven impact on launches and business sustainability.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to simplify complexity and mobilize action.

  • Leadership capability: experience mentoring teams and fostering collaboration across functions.

  • Growth mindset: openness to reskilling and to adopting emerging finance technologies (GenAI, automation, rolling forecasts).

  • Strong foundation in P&L management, financial control, and compliance in a global business environment.

At Takeda, Finance Business Partners bring together analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and human connection. AI and digital tools enhance efficiency and insight, and through judgment, influence, and trusted relationships this role secures sustainable business impact—especially during launches and in times of margin pressure
