Job Description

Takeda Türkiye is searching for a visionaryCountry MSL Managerto lead our Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team. Strategic Leadership:
Translate country medical strategy and therapeutic area (TA) objectives into operational field medical plans.
Oversee execution of annual MSL territory plans, ensuring strategic engagement with key external stakeholders.
Partner cross-functionally with Medical Strategy, Brand Managers, Market Access, and Integrated Patient Solutions teams to align priorities.
Team Management:
Recruit, onboard, and train MSLs, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-oriented culture.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and set visible qualitative and quantitative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Identify developmental needs within the team and implement targeted training programs.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure consistent, compliant documentation of MSL activities in the CRM system.
Implement metrics/reporting to track performance and communicate the team’s value to stakeholders.
Scientific Engagement:
Maximize MSL interaction capabilities by prioritizing high-quality time spent with healthcare providers (HCPs).
Enhance trust in Takeda through credible scientific discussions that build company reputation.
Representation:
Represent the MSL team at local (e.g., therapeutic area team, medical leadership) and global medical affairs meetings.
Mandatory Responsibilities:
Compliance & Integrity:
Ensure all MSL activities comply with industry codes, company policies, and local regulations.
Lead compliance awareness in the MSL team while exemplifying ethical conduct in line with Takeda values (Takeda-ism).
Quality & System Use:
Act as a Quality Ambassador by reporting product-related concerns to the Quality team in a timely manner.
Encourage process discipline across the team by promoting timely and accurate use of systems like Concur, Dakika, and Bloom.
Training & Reporting:
Complete all mandatory training requirements and ensure team-wide adherence to policies and procedures.
Proactively raise compliance or ethical concerns through the appropriate Takeda reporting channels.
Qualifications
A degree in Medicine or Pharmacy (PhD strongly preferred).
7+ years of medical affairs or clinical development expertise within the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management or project mentorship.
Strong verbal and written communication in English and Turkish.
Robust knowledge of the pharmaceutical business, market access nuances, and developing compliant strategies.
Proficiency with CRM tools, field dashboards, and remote engagement platforms.
A valid B-class driver’s license and willingness to travel.
