Job Description
About the role:
- Support DD&T’s mission to strengthen a one-team culture by building Intangible Bonds, fostering trust, collective commitment, inclusion, and connection to patients & purpose across sites and teams.
- Own the program operations, delivery excellence, and measurement for defined culture priorities (e.g., activation of Takeda’s culture pillars, decision making approach, Cultural Exchange Program, DD&T Award, and operations of Culture & Values Group) in close partnership with the DD&T Culture Lead.
- Help local and global stakeholders translate culture strategy into consistent, well-run initiatives that increase participation, credibility, and impact.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset—using stakeholder feedback and culture metrics (e.g., participation, NPS, qualitative insights) to strengthen program quality and sustainability
How you will contribute:
- Program Execution & Workstream Ownership (within the culture portfolio)
- Lead end-to-end execution of assigned culture initiatives from intake through close-out (scope, timeline, stakeholders, comms, run-of-show, follow-ups, retrospectives).
- Translate high-level ideas into structured plans with clear milestones, roles, risks, and decision points.
- Culture Program Operations, Cadence & Portfolio Support
- Operate and continuously improve DD&T culture programming to run predictably and with a strong colleague experience (planning cycles, cadences, documentation/version control, toolkits/templates, and execution support).
- Coordinate portfolio logistics to ensure communications, materials, schedules, and stakeholder touchpoints are ready on time; proactively manage risks/issues and escalate as needed.
- Support DD&T Culture priorities such as CVG enablement & operating cadence; Cultural Exchange cohort operations; DD&T Awards cycle operations; activation of Takeda culture pillars within DD&T; rollout of the DD&T decision-making approach.
- Culture Communications & Storytelling
- Source and shape authentic stories (impact spotlights, colleague voices, event recaps) that increase visibility, credibility, and participation.
- Independently draft and publish high-quality culture communications assets (e.g., SharePoint/Viva Engage posts) with minimal guidance.
- Measurement & Insights-to-Action
- Track and report culture KPIs (e.g., number of events, participation indicators, event NPS, qualitative themes).
- Support analysis of engagement signals (e.g., EES themes or pulse feedback) and translate insights into practical recommendations and implementation plans.
- Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional partners (e.g., site leadership, HR, communications, facilities/event support) and external stakeholders (e.g., travel vendors for Culture Exchange Program) to deliver initiatives smoothly across locations and time zones.
- Share and communicate status, risks, and trade-offs clearly; manage last-minute requests without compromising quality by proposing options and timelines.
- Operational Rigor & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain repositories, playbooks, calendars, and templates; identify opportunities to simplify governance and improve repeatability.
- Propose enhancements to processes and tooling that improve sustainability and reduce reliance on ad hoc heroics.
What you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, HR, Organizational Psychology, Business, or similar).
- 5-8 years of demonstrated experience delivering culture/engagement, internal communications, employee experience, or program operations work
- Strong project/program management: planning, sequencing, stakeholder coordination, risk/issue management, follow-through.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and executive-ready presentation development.
- Strong cross-cultural collaboration skills; comfort working across time zones as needed
