Job Description

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

To act as a coach and facilitator for the CI squad, aligning their efforts with the broader strategic goals of the OpU/Region network and driving high-value strategic projects at OpU/Region level. This role focuses on driving operational excellence and delivering value across the entire network through the strategic deployment of AOS elements, in full alignment & collaboration with the OpU/Region BE Head

SCOPE

The Global Operational Excellence OpU/Region Network Lead provides strategic guidance and leadership, working closely with the OpU/Region leadership team to prioritize and drive high-impact projects, share best practices, and ensure consistency in operational practices across the network. This position should support the delivery of COP savings in the range of 3 to 5% of addressable spend in scope/annum.

Implement strategic CI initiatives (20%)

  • Lead CI squad efforts focusing on value stream level and implement strategic CI initiatives to drive significant business impact within the OpU/Region.

OE Expertise and Support (15%)

  • Provide OE expertise during any stage of transformation to solve complex issues hands-on and guide the execution of value stream level projects.

Alignment with Strategic Goals (10%)

  • Ensure CI squad efforts align with the broader strategic objectives of the OpU/Region, facilitating cohesive and effective operations.

Consistency in Deployment (15%)

  • Drive the consistent deployment of AOS elements across all sites within the network, ensuring maximum efficiency and value creation.

Coaching and Cultural Change (15%)

  • Coach OpU/Regional leaders on how to lead in an OE environment, fostering and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

eAGILE Roadmap (10%)

  • Lead and support the development and execution of the OpU/Region eAGILE Roadmap, driving business impact through strategic AOS deployment.

Best Practices and Training (10%)

  • Identify, codify, share, and prioritize impactful best practices across the OpU/Region, supporting replication efforts and delivering Green Belt/Black Belt training modules.

Collaboration and Strategic Support (5%)

  • Work closely with OpU/Region leadership, BE teams, SBO, Network strategy, product teams, BPO, and FoF to drive and support strategic initiatives and special projects as required.
  • Collaborate with other GOE Network Leads on sharing & leveraging impactful best practices.
  • Performs special studies on request.

  • Salary Increase: Annually, Bonus Payment: Twice a year

  • Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/ Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/ Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, (Narita) 8:30-17:15, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45

  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)
