The Opportunity

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving Takeda’s digital transformation by analyzing complex business processes and translating them into actionable requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance patient care and organizational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to influence global projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge digital capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and refinement meetings.

  • Translate business needs into detailed specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Maintain and update documentation for assigned software applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

  • Advise and mentor junior analysts on best practices for business process analysis and requirements elicitation.

  • Create analytical outputs such as data flow diagrams, software specifications, and proof of concepts.

  • Ensure deliverables are complete, consistent, and aligned with company standards and timelines.

  • Identify issues during development and propose alternative solutions to meet business needs.

  • Support continuous improvement by defining and implementing processes, policies, and tools related to analysis.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field, or other relevant work experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in a business analysis area.

  • 2+ years of experience within a Lean/Agile development environment.

  • Certification in the field of Business Analysis (Recommended).

  • Ability to understand and document system architecture and data flow diagrams.

  • Proficient with writing SQL queries for querying data and analyzing them in Excel using filters, pivot tables and advanced formulas.

  • Experience translating user requirements into test strategy and ensuring coverage in test cases.

  • Flexibility in working with multiple systems and ability to navigate through applications and reports to document requirements and analyze issues.

  • Ability to review/analyze/documentbusiness objectives, data flows, systems interactions and issues reported at multiple levels of granularity or aggregation based on needs.

  • Highly organized and able to break down complex problems into manageable chunks and drive priorities based on expected outcomes and timelines.

  • Training/mentor skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile development principles and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to reach audiences of all levels of a large global organization.

Nice to have: Knowledge of Databricks, Power BI, AWS, and FTP/sFTP.
